Rawlings-Blake to introduce tax credit bill for apartment developers

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake plans to unveil next week legislation calling for a property tax credit aimed at helping build new apartments in Downtown Baltimore and six other city neighborhoods.

The bill, which the mayor is scheduled to have introduced at Monday’s City Council meeting, would provide a 15-year tax credit on apartments containing 50 or more units.
