Rise Development, H Street CDC picked to redevelop H Street NE parcel

Rise Development and H Street Community Development Corp. have been awarded the rights to redevelop a prime, D.C.-owned H Street NE lot into a 30-unit residential building with 8,000 square feet of retail.

The 10,800-square-foot former R.L. Christian Library parcel at 1300 H St. will be renamed the R.L. Christian Arts Campus, include 17 underground parking spaces and six affordable units, and will feature retail space for local merchants.
