MBS MID-DAY: Leveling Off After Moderate Morning Weakness

Posted To: MBS CommentaryMBS Live : MBS Morning Market Summary Much like yesterday, today has been uncharacteristically slow in the context of recent volatility. Unfortunately, that slowness has served as the playing field upon which MBS prices have steadily weakened, coinciding with rising Treasury yields and stock prices for a quintessential, if tepid, "risk-on" move. Its part of a series of back and forth swings (note our excessive references this week to the concept of "risk-on vs risk-off") that combine to paint a picture of narrowing trading ranges heading into tomorrow mornings ECB Announcement. Theres no big news expected from the announcement, but markets seem to be getting into ready position just in case. None of this mornings weakness in MBS or Treasuries takes them outside these triangular, consolidating...(read more)Forward this article via email:  Send a copy of this story to someone you know that may want to read it.http://www.mortgagenewsdaily.com/mortgage_rates/blog/294662.aspx| Call Bonnie Kelly for all your real estate needs: 505-350-8672 @ uwad.com

Improving Markets List Expands to Include at Least One Major City in Every State

Posted To: MND NewsWireAll fifty states and the District of Columbia are now represented on the Improving Markets Index (IMI) that was released today by National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and First American Title Insurance. The February IMI expanded to a total of 259 metropolitan areas with the addition of 20 cities to the list The new cities represented 15 states with five of those states, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, North Carolina, and Texas adding two metropolitan areas each. Among the new additions were Racine, New York, El Paso, Albuquerque, and Topeka. Three areas, Champaign, Illinois; Lebanon, Pennsylvania; and Amarillo, Texas dropped from the list in February. Improving markets are defined as those that have posted six straight months of improvement from their respective troughs on each of three economic...(read more)Forward this article via email:  Send a copy of this story to someone you know that may want to read it.http://www.mortgagenewsdaily.com/02062013_improving_markets.asp| Call Bonnie Kelly for all your real estate needs: 505-350-8672 @ uwad.com

Mortgage Rates Recover Yesterdays Losses, Back In Line With Monday

Posted To: Mortgage Rate WatchMortgage rates did a complete 180, for the second straight session. This reverses yesterdays rise in borrowing costs, taking them back in line with Mondays more palatable offerings in most cases. While some lenders are slightly better or worse than Monday, the average rate sheet continues to hover around the 3.625% Best-Execution level for 30yr Fixed, Conventional loans. That means that for all the volatility weve seen--and considering the somewhat dramatically worded "180" degree turns, the swings are merely playing out in the realm of COST whereas most any borrower would continue seeing the same interest rate every day for the past two weeks. ( What is A Best-Execution Mortgage Rate? ) Markets were more volatile during the domestic hours today, as opposed to yesterdays session which saw...(read more)Forward this article via email:  Send a copy of this story to someone you know that may want to read it.http://www.mortgagenewsdaily.com/consumer_rates/294727.aspx| Call Bonnie Kelly for all your real estate needs: 505-350-8672 @ uwad.com

Posted To: MND NewsWireAfter decreasing during the holiday shortened week ended January 25 the pace of mortgage applications returned last week to the upward track it had been on since the first of the year. On an unadjusted basis the volume was up 16 percent compared to the previous week. The seasonally adjusted Purchase Index was up 2 percent to the highest level since early May 2010. On an unadjusted basis it soared 21 percent week-over-week and was 16 percent higher than during the same week in 2011. MBS RECAP: Window Waxing Continues, Europe In Play

Posted To: MBS CommentaryMBS Live : MBS Afternoon Market Summary Wax-on: solid gains throughout the day on Monday. Wax-off: gains mostly erased in Europe overnight on Tuesday. Wednesday, then, is "wax-on, risk-off" as bond markets hit the domestic session near their highs ("risk-off" connotes bond market demand at the expense of equities weakness). The memo to take that wax back off went out too early as bond markets gave up ground into the afternoon, but European headlines were there to reinvigorate enough of a risk-off bid for Treasuries and MBS that we made it back to morning levels. Confused? Basically, the past two days have been good, then bad. Today was good, then bad, then good again, and looks to be heading out while still remaining good. Were reduced to conversing about the market in such a manner when nothing...(read more)Forward this article via email:  Send a copy of this story to someone you know that may want to read it.http://www.mortgagenewsdaily.com/mortgage_rates/blog/294729.aspx| Call Bonnie Kelly for all your real estate needs: 505-350-8672 @ uwad.com

Albuquerque Master Planned Communities

People searching for Albuquerque real estate are in various life modes such as relocation, retirement or first time home buyers. They may benefit from a master planned community. This is because they include the infrastructure, schools, parks, community centers and nearby shopping. Today’s newest communities in Albuquerque also include the latest in green building standards and are typically much more efficient saving in utility costs. I have compiled some of the more well known master planned community around the Albuquerque area.Mesa Del Sol (12,500 acres) is Albuquerque’s newest master planned community – all green standards just south of the Albuquerque Sunport area. It is in the initial stages if development and several of New Mexico’s best home builders are taking part in this community.Tanoan, an established Country Club area in Albuquerque’s Northeast heights offers luxury homes at an affordable price in today’s emerging housing market.Mariposa (6500 acres) and Cabezon (904 acres) are two of the newest westside communities. Mariposa is in Rio Rancho close to Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Loma Colorado is a 444 acre ranch in Rio Rancho that has recently broken ground. Look for more budding communities on the west side from the Taylor Ranch area to Paradise Hills and Rio Rancho, as well as the West Mesa areas close to the luxury community of Oxbow overlooking the beautiful Rio Grande.Quail Ranch will have about 20,000 houses, condos and apartments in the Bernalillo area just 2o minutes to the North of Albuquerque.El Rancho Grande on Albuquerque’s southwest mesa as about 450 acres. It is zoned for about 2,500 single family homes, multifamily housing plus a school site two parks and a trail system.Ventana Ranch is a more established community and one of the first on Albuquerque’s west side to offer a well planned community infrastructure just before the housing market slump. There are great housing deals right now in this community.Volterra is located in the beautiful Four Hills area of Southeast Albuquerque, this community is located near Sandia labs and Kirtland Air Force base. The 2,200 acre Huning Ranch in Los Lunas for those that want to live out f the Albuquerque metro area, yet close to work.So now that you know a little bit more about some of my Albuquerque real estate listing secrets let me show what I can do for your next real estate home sale or purchase! Why relocate to Albuquerque, NM?

Who can pass up 310 days of sunshine per year. Albuquerque’s culture is rich in diversity. Coming from Los Angeles I quickly learned to love the southwestern lifestyle: an array of sights, sounds, smells and tastes that many people can only read about in magazines. With home prices lower than the national average and employment opportunities for all income and educational levels, Albuquerque has grown from under half a million in 1990 to over 750,000 today. From the night life in Albuquerque’s downtown, UNM and Nob Hill areas, the first class restaurants and shopping in Uptown, the very best of the southwest experience in Old Town to surrounding communities such as Corrales, Bernalillo the East Mountains or Rio Rancho, Albuquerque has it all without the big commute or smog. Don\'t overlook the wonderful North Valley and Los Ranchos! Homes are plentiful with a choice of affordable new construction or resale homes throughout Albuquerque. Rates are still at all time low but home prices in many areas have made a turn upwards. So why not relocate to Albuquerque? So now that you know a little bit more about some of my Albuquerque real estate listing secrets let me show what I can do for your next real estate home sale or purchase!
