Arenacross 2016: So Cal debut, Colorado triple play included

ELLENTON, Fla. - Feld Motor Sports announces the schedule for the 14-round 2016 Amsoil Arenacross series, featuring Ricky Carmichael's Road to Supercross."The incredible growth of the sport over the past year has led to one of the most dynamic championship schedules for 2016, which will feature six new stops and a multitude of firsts for Amsoil Arenacross," the organization said.The season will kick off from Cincinnati's US Bank Arena on Jan. 9 and will culminate with the season finale on May 6 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. It will be the precursor to the Monster Energy AMA Supercross finale at Sam Boyd Stadium.Series highlights include the first series triple-header, which will feature three nights of action at the Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colo. The series will make a long-awaited debut in Southern California with the championship's inaugural visit to Citizen's Business Bank Arena in Ontario, and will follow up the next weekend at the Salinas Sports Complex in California's Central Valley.
