MAYWOOD, Ill. - National Cycle has released new windshield applications for the Ducati Scrambler.For a smaller screen with big screen performance, there are the N2590-01 (clear) and N2591-01 (light tint) Deflector Screens that have a two-point mounting system and an easy-to-use RakeAdjust feature.The N2594-01 (clear) and N2595-01 (light tint) Deflector Screen DX models feature the same RakeAdjust and two-point mounting system, and then add National Cycle's patented QuickSet mounts that allow riders to remove or re-install the windshield in reportedly less than one minute.For Scrambler customers needing a bigger windshield and a four-point mounting system, the N2560-01 and N2561-01 Street Shield models offer excellent upper body protection and sturdy U-clamp mounts, the company reported. Also available: the taller and wider N2567-01 Street Shield EX with QuickSet mount.For customers planning to put a lot of highway miles on their Scramblers, they may consider the N8513-01 Plexifairing 3. This model, introduced back in 1984, was the world's first quick-release windshield. For Scrambler riders it features extended hand and leg protection and works in all weather conditions, the company added.
