Further, the average home owner may not be willing to shell out 3-5k for profesional staging or be willing to move their furniture or make the necessary updates that buyers are looking for. So then then within the average home sell an agent may be able to make some staging tips and control all of the marketing to get the word out. That complicates the notion of balancing marketing, staging and pricing to get the house sold. Agent need a small arsenal of affordable options to cover marketing and staging. The first step to selling your listing is to get more traffic. The best way to do that is to make the MLS pictures online compelling. It is difficult to accomplish this with an empty house.
