Start with the fact that today over 90% of home buyers in Albuquerque are looking online. Still the industry is trying to catch up to the notion of getting the home seen on Google searches. Sure, lots of people are looking using search sites like Zillow, Realtor.com, Trulia or Homes.com. But those sites are not local and they are just grabbing data from the MLS including home values that may be out of date by years. As an example, my PFRE Tour virtual tour will play live on Zillow until I go in and manually put pending into the status field. As a result, tens of thousands of inaccurate virtual tours are playing there.
Savvy shoppers will look to local search results. Funny enough it seems that Google’s ever changing algorithm is moving towards local searches as well. Hopefully soon, those big national websites will be out in the cold for local searches. It will take more than keywords to stay on the first page.
The key is still fresh daily content. Who has the time or knowledge for that? Anybody that wants to be found online can write a few paragraphs such as the one I have composed here about their own subject of expertise. Do it before breakfast or after dinner. This particular site has been designed for a single easy to launch website for the owner that wants to promote their product and compete on the first page of Google. For Real Estate it’s a natural! I wouldn’t think of listing a property without building one of these Booster sites for the real estate property to be marketed. How would this site work for your product
