CNL Healthcare Properties buys senior living communities for $158.2M

CNL Healthcare Properties Inc. announced it bought 10 senior living communities with a combined 671 units in two separate deals for a total of $158.2 million.

In the first deal, the real estate investment trust bought five properties â€" three in Maryland and two in Michigan â€" with a total of 348 units from Capital Health Holdings for $85.1 million. Capital Health Group Management, a Capital Health Holdings subsidiary, will manage the properties, said a news release.
