Albuquerque Police Department DWI Enforcement Provides Rides to Jail - ENDWI

Tavern Taxi (505)-999-1400 is a free service offered to get inebriated people home. But, when people choose to get behind the wheel of a vehicle drunk, or on drugs the Albuquerque Police Department is there to provided those individuals with a ride to jail. Become a designated driver and help ENDWI. The saferide program is now titled TAVERN TAXI. The Tavern Taxi program provides a safe ride home to inebriate individuals from local bars/restaurants in the Bernalillo County area. The program is funded through the Local DWI through a contract to the Albuquerque Cab Company. The program is operation from 10:00 pm through 3:00 am on Friday and Saturday nights, and Sundays from 8:00 pm to midnight at no charge to the inebriate individual. It is also in operation for special events and holidays with prior authorization. Tavern Taxi can now be reached at 999-1400. Video music provided by: The GR Swardson Band
