Koch brother buys Bunny Mellons Cape Cod estate (slide show)

A 26-acre waterfront compound on a private Cape Cod island has sold for a reported $19.5 million this week to Bill Koch, brother of noted conservative political contributors Charles and David Koch.

Rachel “Bunny” Mellon and her late husband, the banking heir Paul Mellon, bought the property on Oyster Harbors island in Osterville the 1940s, according to the Wall Street Journal, which cited unnamed sources for the sale price. The property was listed last January for $28.7 million.
