I always thought the last thing I would do in my career is the same as the first thing I did at 15… play guitar for a concert. May still be yet, but things have vastly changed as a result of the recession. In Church today I heard the Priest say, “if things don’t change by next summer we may be in a full-blown recession.” Of course as a small business owner all I could think was “may be, think we already are…  So what does this have to do with real estate or small business ventures? Simple, life changes things and you need to adapt. The difficult part is that to get good at something new you have to develop a passion for it. When you are already passionate about something else it’s difficult to become passionate about something else. Kind of like being a one woman man… Sounds crazy I know, but if you have had a difficult time of it the past several years maybe you can relate.
